It was from his experience that Tyto was born. TytoCare Remote Medical Solution – Just like visiting the clinic Tyto is a handheld exam kit and app that lets you perform guided remote medical exams with a healthcare provider, anytime, anywhere Clalit HMO, Israel – Israel’s largest health system, 2nd largest HMO in the world – 4.5M members, 14 hospitals, 1,400 clinics. Expanded their phone- and video-based telehealth service with Tyto’s end-to-end platform and devices. Clalit are subsidizing the TytoHome kit for their members to a consumer price of 85$ (one-time fee). Ongoing platform usage fees are paid by Clalit, not by the members. Clalit’s Tyto Service is live since Fall 2018, supported by TV commercials and digital marketing campaigns. Tyto’s online live visit is used, where patients can optionally prepare exams offline towards the visit. The usage adoption up to date (May 2020): 18,000 TytoHome devices sold with 45,000 registered patients 48,000 visits performed. Currently, average of ~800 weekly visits (off-season / not in winter) Main usage is by families with kids. 63% of treated patients are under the age of 4. Most common exams: Lungs, Throat, Ears and Skin. Average visit time: 4.5 minutes. Patients report in surveys (N=1000+): 93% of the cases, Tyto online visit saved the need of a physical visit. SWICA/Sante24, Switzerland – Second largest health insurance in Switzerland (1.5M members) that provides its own phone-based telehealth services through its spin-off telemedicine provider Sante24. Following a successful pilot by 200 employees in Fall 2019, launched their Tyto service to their members in Mar 20’, starting with 2,000 families. Use case – TytoHome for families, using Tyto’s end-to-end platform Workflow: Offline examinations conducted by home user, including patient’s symptoms collection and video for overall impression. The recorded exams are sent to a caregiver (e.g. nurse) for a review and triage. Physician will then review the exams, and provide treatment over the phone. If needed, e.g. in case further examinations are needed, physician initiates an online visit in Tyto. Usage: 1,000 visits were performed during first 2 months. In 96% of visits the recorded offline exams were sufficient to provide a diagnosis remotely, and save a physical visit. QARE (AXA), France – QARE is a telehealth company that allows home consultations for over 180K accounts in France and performs 10K home consultations monthly. Over 500 physicians paying member fees. Qare is owned by Kamet Ventures, which is part of AXA, one of the largest insurers in Europe. Partnership with Tyto was launched in Nov 19’. 80 pharmacies have already been equipped with Tyto solution More pharmacies are enrolled in the coming few months. Use case – TytoPro, Integrated with Qare Platform Patients can perform a complete primary care visit in the local pharmacy using Qare platform and connected Tyto devices via our Embedded Online Integration Pharmacies are equipped with the telehealth room, where patients can make an appointment and hold an on-line visit with physician. Visit prices starts from 25 EUR and 75% of the visit is reimbursed by health insurance. Samitivej Hospitals, Thailand- Samitivej Hospitals is a chain of private hospitals and clinics, part of BDMS, Thailand’s largest private hospital network. In March 2019 Samitivej has launched its new Virtual Hospital telemedicine service, featuring video conference with Samitivej doctors. Partnership with Tyto was started in Oct’19. with three main use cases: TytoHome examination for patients using Virtual Hospital services TytoPro with school nurses and remote clinics TytoPro use at hospitals for COVID-19 patients. Use cases: Embedded Online Integration with Samitivej Virtual hospital Platform Consumer Launched at April 2020 starting with hundreds of TytoHome devices. TytoPro was extensively used by Samitivej hospitals during COVID-19 pandemic. MDA – Israel’s national ambulance service, MDA (or MADA), have implemented a telemedicine service as part of their ambulances. The target of this service is to save unnecessary evacuations to the ER, by allowing the paramedic to perform exams on-site, while a remote physician provides the diagnosis and decides whether the patient can be treated at home. Tyto platform and devices were integrated into MDA telemedicine platform, where the exams are streamed live to the remote physician. 350 Ambulances are already equipped with a TytoPro kit.
